I'd dreamt about enrolling in pastry school for the longest time, never thinking that working as a pastry chef would ever become reality. It was just something to fantasize about doing "one day" as I worked at my 9-5 job in telecommunications.
That "one day" finally arrived when I moved to Virginia from Sydney, Australia and now, having had the honor of working in the pastry kitchen of some of DC-area's fine establishments, including The Fairmont Washington DC and 1789 Restaurant in Georgetown, The Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner, and Del Mar de Fabio Trabocchi at The Wharf, I'm living out my dream baking cakes and designing desserts for my new community and friends. Visit our stall at the EatLoco farmers market and you will find an ever-growing menu of carefully handcrafted items, all locally and freshly baked. Some of our specialties include our signature brown butter Belgian chocolate chip cookies, popular quick breads and coffee cakes, and selection of shortbreads and biscotti.
